Pumpkin 'Crownie'
This recipe is the perfect balance between pumpkin cake and a brownie. A great addition to your fall recipe mix. They are fluffy and moist like cake but still at a brownie consistency with a ton of fall flavor packed into every bite.

Ingredients
- 2 ½ Cups All- Purpose Four
- 1 Tablesppon Pumpkin Pie Spice
- 1½ Teaspoons Baking Soda
- 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
- 1¾ Cups Granulated Sugar
- 1 Large Egg
- 1½ Cups Pumpkin Puree
- 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
- 1½ Cups Chocolate Chips I Dark Chocolate
- 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
- 1 Teaspoon Salt
Instructions
Prep
- Preheat oven to 350℉
- Line bottom of 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking oil
Combine Wet Ingredients
- In a mixing bowl beat the butter with hand or stand mixer until pale and creamy.
- Add in sugar and mix until fluffy.Mix in egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla mix until fully combined.
Combine Dry Ingredients
- In a separate large bowl whisk together flour, pumpkin pie seasoning, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.
Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients
- Slowly combine dry mixture to wet mixture, mixing until well combined.
- With a spoon fold in chocolate chips.
Bake
- Bake for 40-45 minutes or until center comes out clean when inserting a toothpick.
- Remove from oven. Allow to cool for ~20min. Enjoy!
