Pumpkin 'Crownie'

This recipe is the perfect balance between pumpkin cake and a brownie. A great addition to your fall recipe mix. They are fluffy and moist like cake but still at a brownie consistency with a ton of fall flavor packed into every bite.

  • 2 ½ Cups All- Purpose Four
  • 1 Tablesppon Pumpkin Pie Spice
  • Teaspoons Baking Soda
  • 1 Cup Unsalted Butter
  • Cups Granulated Sugar
  • 1 Large Egg
  • Cups Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 Tablespoons Vanilla Extract
  • Cups Chocolate Chips I Dark Chocolate
  • 1 Teaspoon Cinnamon
  • 1 Teaspoon Salt



  • Preheat oven to 350℉
  • Line bottom of 9x13 inch pan with parchment paper and spray with cooking oil

Combine Wet Ingredients

  • In a mixing bowl beat the butter with hand or stand mixer until pale and creamy.
  • Add in sugar and mix until fluffy.Mix in egg, pumpkin puree, and vanilla mix until fully combined.

Combine Dry Ingredients

  • In a separate large bowl whisk together flour, pumpkin pie seasoning, cinnamon, baking soda, and salt.

Combine Wet & Dry Ingredients

  • Slowly combine dry mixture to wet mixture, mixing until well combined.
  • With a spoon fold in chocolate chips.


  • Bake for 40-45 minutes or until center comes out clean when inserting a toothpick.
  • Remove from oven. Allow to cool for ~20min. Enjoy!
